Eileen Costelloe was born in 1911 and died in 1976. She designed several posters for CIE in the 1940s and 1950s. She later exhibited with The Hendriks Gallery in Dublin, with solo shows in 1962, 1965, 1971 and 1975. The first of her solo exhibitions comprised forty-five works, two in watercolour, the remainder in oil.
