Pat Fleisher (d. 2009) was born in Toronto, Canada. She graduated from the University of Toronto where she was art critic of The Varsity and actively exhibited as a painter in Toronto in the 60's.
Since the 70's she was publisher, editor & designer of three Canadian magazines dealing with the contemporary visual art scene: Artmagazine, The Artpost, Cityart, Artfocus and Artfocus Online Art Magazine. In 1996 she launched the website, Artfocus.com which she also edited & designed.
On behalf of her magazines, she has travelled widely across Canada and to international art events documenting in photos, the art and artists of each community and the environment of the city streets they inhabit.
