David Roberts RA (1796 – 1864) was a Scottish painter. He is especially known for a prolific series of detailed lithograph prints of Egypt and the Near East that he produced from sketches he made during long tours of the region (1838–1840). These and his large oil paintings of similar subjects made him a prominent Orientalist painter. He was elected as a Royal Academician in 1841.

Louis Haghe (1806, Tournai, Belgium – 1885, Surrey) was a lithographer and watercolour artist. His most famous and ambitious work was his work with David Roberts. He completed 250 lithographs for his book "The Holy Land, Syria, Idumea, Arabia, Egypt & Nubia.", Image Size : 256x355 (mm), 10.08x13.98 (Inches), Platemark Size : , Paper Size : 574x408 (mm), 22.60x16.06 (Inches), Coloring: Hand Colored, Medium: Lithograph, Categories: Views Africa Egypt;.
