“A rare print of Montreal is the aquatint by John Bluck of the sketch of the City of Montreal from the Mountian, by Lieut. E. Walsh, 49th Regiment. The original water-colour is in the Sigmund Samuel Collection, and the aquatint from this was published by “R. Ackermann’s Fine Arts Repository” in 1811. It is a handsome print, coloured by hand, showing a very small city close to the River St. Lawrence.
