This is from the first edition of Piranesi's "Prima Parte di Architetture e Prospettive", from either the third, fourth, or fifth issues, published between 1747 and 1748.
The "Prima Parte" is the "earliest collected work published by Piranesi". With regards to the various issues of this work, Wilton-Ely presents Robison's proposal, that "the differences that exist between various copies of the 'Prima Parte' do not represent 'definite and successive "editions"' of the work but rather a continual revision of the volume by Piranesi within one 'umbrella' edition."
