Original spine laid on, with 4 slightly-raised bands, gilt lettering on brown morocco labels in compartments 2 and 4, remaining with gilt motifs. Floral patterned pasted and free endpapers.

This fine example of Firdusi is bound with a separate book, which was added as an addendum. It is a book about important and distinguished Zoroastrian individuals in India at the time of this second publication (1913). Therefore this addendum is an important historical document of the Zoroastrians at the turn of the century in India. 56 pages, text in two columns, illustrated with 84 photographs (including one composite showing staff of Photozinco Office).

Ferdowsi or Firdusi (940 – 1019/1025) was a prominent Persian poet, celebrated as one of the most influential figures in Persian literature.
