Charles Lutwidge Dodgson (1832 – 1898), known as Lewis Carroll, was an English author, poet, mathematician and photographer, widely known for his iconic children’s books, most notably being Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland (1865). Through the Looking-Glass (1871) is its sequel.
