Front and bottom edges uncut., Notes: Clement Clarke Moore (1779 – 1863) was an American writer and Professor of Oriental and Greek Literature, as well as Divinity and Biblical Learning. He is credited with writing the Christmas poem “A Visit from St. Nicholas,” first published anonymously in 1823. It later became widely known as "'Twas the Night Before Christmas" and has been published in numerous illustrated versions in various languages.

Arthur Rackham (1867 – 1939) was an English book illustrator. He is recognised as one of the leading figures during the Golden Age of British book illustration. His work is noted for its robust pen and ink drawings, which were combined with the use of watercolour, a technique he developed due to his background as a journalistic illustrator.
