Hand-coloured animated folkloric scenes and popular life in Rome at the beginning of the 19th century. They are undoubtedly the most beautiful and typical Roman costume and life among those produced by the artist. All the plates are etched on thick wove paper.

II: A series of 16 loose folio plates drawn and engraved by Bartolomeo Pinelli from one of his other works in original hand-colouring, depicting vignettes of country life throughout Italy. Plates have captions both in Italian and French text.
