Binding: Contemporary full calf, edge of sides in gilt, spine expertly rebacked with matching tones and 6 compartments of raised bands, title in gilt on two, Notes: Pennant a Welsh naturalist and antiquary, belonged to a distinguished Welsh family, for many generations resident at Downing, Flintshire, where he was born. In 1778 he brought out A Tour in Wales. Most of this tour was through the northern Welsh Marches and along the north coast to Bangor.
